Yes It’s Friday and drivers around Penrith are facing delays on the M6 and A66 around Penrith this afternoon.

Traffic on the M6 is stationary between junction 41 down to J40 with traffic on the M6 facing delays of around 20-30 minutes currently.

Traffic is backed up between J40 and Kemplay Roundabout along the A66 and East of Kemplay Towards Kirkby Thore.

Drivers are also facing 45 minuite delays on the M6 between junction 39 at Shap and Junction 38 at Tebay.
