Teatime Traffic Delays on A66 and M6 around Penrith

Teatime traffic is facing delays on the A66 and M6 this evening around J40 and Kemplay.

Traffic is facing delays of 20mins on the A66 and 10 minutes exiting the M6 onto J40 currently.

With some delays through Castletown as traffic attempts to bypass the delays on the A66.

Rapidly changing traffic lights and vehicles jumping lights are adding to the delays on the A66 with traffic tailbacks east and westbound between Stainton and Brougham.
